Gentlemen

You will receive herewith (by My Lord Treasurers Orders) Copys of Representations from Charles Pembruge Landwaiter at Bristol and from the Pewterers there touching Frauds Committed to the prejudice of her Majestys Revenue arising from Tinn with Copys of Affidavits relating thereunto. My Lord is pleased to Direct You to Examine the Matter therein contained and to consider of proper Methods for prosecuting the Frauds therein mentioned, and that you give his Lordship an Account of what you shall do therein I am &c. 25 March 1714
