Gentlemen

You will receive herewith (by My Lord Trears Orders Order) Copys of Representations from Charles Pembruge Landwaiter at Bristol and from the Pewterers there touching Frauds Committed to the prejudice of her Mats. Revenue arising from Tinn with Copys of Affidavits relating thereunto. My Lord is pleased to Direct You to Examine the Matter therein contained and to consider of proper Methods for prosecuting the Frauds therein menconed, and that you give his Lordp an Account of what you shall do therein I am &c. 25 March 1714
