By his M^tys. Comrs for Ecc^ll. Causes, & for y^e Visitation of y^e Vniv^rsities, & of all & every Collegiate Churches, Colleges, Grammer Schooles, Hospitalls & other y^e like Incorporations, or ffoundations, & Societies.

Whereas Io. Pechell D^r of D. V. C^r of Cambr. & M^r of S^t. Mary Magd. Coll. in y^e s^d Vniv^ty hath been convened before us for his disobedience to his M^tys. Royall Lett^rs Mandatory, and other his contempts, & y^e s^d D^r Io. Peachell having been fully heard thereupon: Wee haue thought fit after mature Consideration of y^t matter, to declare, decree & pronounce, y^t y^e s^d D^r Io. Peachell shall for y^e s^d disobedience & contempt, be deprived frō being V. C. of y^e s^d Vniversitie & from all power of Acting in y^e same, & also y^t he shall be suspended ab Officio, & Beneficio of his M^p. of y^e sd College, during his M^tys. pleasure, & accordingly we do by these p^rsents deprive him y^e s^d D^r Io. Pechell frō being V C^r of y^e s^d Vnivty. & frō all power of acting in y^e same, & also suspend him ab Officio & Beneficio of y^e s^d College peremptorily admonishing him, & requiring him hereby to abstain frō y^e Function & Execution of y^e Office of V. C^r. & frō Acting in y^e Vniv^ty & also frō his Function as M^r. of y^e s^d. College, during y^e s^d Suspension under pain of Deprivation frō his s^d M^rp. And we do further Order & Decree y^t y^e profitts & perquisits belonging to his s^d M^rp. shall during y^e s^d Suspension be applyed to y^e Vse and benefit of y^e s^d College.
