I have considered the annexed Petition & beleive find that ye Petitioner did apprehend & prosecute Wm Hawp|k|ins & James {illeg}|Ha|rrison & by taking &|a| journed|y| of 36 miles to Lincoln \Assizes/ & staying there a week wth his witnesses did conv pr prosecute them to conviction & the estate he petitions for amounts to about 10£ per an̄ but & is not yet seized for his Mats use & I beleive it for his Mats service that suitable rewards such as may be a lease of this estate for so many years as yor Lordps shall think \fit/ may \tend to/ encourage Gentlemen in the Country to Serve his Maty more readily in these matters.
