The master receiueth of W. D: one pounde weight of bullion which holdeth xj^oz fine silu^er & one ounce of allaye and withall he receiveth vj^d ob in money which is all one as yf he receiued one pounde weight standerd at xj^oz ij^d weight fine which is accompted to be in vallue	}	Lx^s
The master deliu^ered againe to M. D: pounde weight refineth nothinge in meltinge which is not possible the which xj^oz xviij^d weight holdeth in fyne silu^er x^oz xviij^d weight in gre / Then M. So we finde it apparaunte that M. D: deliu^eringe one pounde weight of silu^er of xj^oz fine and vj^d ob in moneyes which is all one as if he deliuered one pounde weight of xj^oz ij^d weight gine and receiuinge iij^£ wayinge xj^oz xviij^d weight of xj^oz ^a fine or any thinge aboue cannot lacke xij^d ob as master audito^r hathe saide /

And so we finde it also apparaunte that M. D: deliu^eringe j^£ weight of silu^er of xj^oz fine and vj^d ob in moneyes which is all one as if he deliuered one pounde weight of xj^oz ij^d weight fine and receivinge iij^£ wayinge xj^oz xviij^d weight of xj^oz j^d weight fine lacketh of that he deliuered but ix^d  as master Lonyson hathe saide & not xij^d ob as master Audito^r hathe saide /

Also adde the saide ix^d ^a to the iij^£ wayinge xj^oz xviij^d weight of xj^oz j^d weight fine and it counternaileth the pounde weight of xj^oz fine & the vj^d ob therwith deliuered which directelye proueth the reckoninge to be trewe /

Article. 20.

And if it shalbe founde by the saide assaye of the saide potte made in forme aforesaide that the pounde weight throughelye trued answer not in finesse the full standered a fore saide but that it shall passe the one half of the remedye lymitted in either of the saide standerds the lacje therof shalbe entred of recorde by the said warden or such as he shall therunto appointe and a trewe accompte therof shalbe made to o^er sou^erayne Ladye the Q: of somuche of the saide lacke as shall passe the saide one half of the saide remedye and the same fully and wholy to be answered to o^er ou^erayne Ladye the Q: withoute any comodytie to growe to any other person or persons by the same /

Article. 21.

Sauinge alwayes that in case by the saide assayes of the potte it shalbe founde that the saide moneyes of golde & silu^er doe passe at any tyme in finesse the one half of the saide remedye lymitted in either of the saide standerde thatt then the saide finesse to be entred of recorde & golde plate which the saide master in the charge which he shall haue when any lacke shalbe founde by the sayde assaye of the saide potte passinge the saide half remedye afore saide /
