Middx Ss The examination of John Alias George Hews and susannah his wife taken upon oath this 24th day of December 1702

John Hews alias George and Susanna his wife being duly Examined saith that when search was made in their lodgings in Barwick Street he the Said John alias George was lying upon the bed in another room & the persons who searched knocking at the Lodging door he opened the same and as he was going towards the door Susannah his wife did putt some counterfeit money in his pockett and likewise some more counterfeit money into his hatt and that: the said money was made in their <1v> lodging room by Jane Smith and Sarah Willson in the presence of the said Susannah Hews by the Said Jane Smith and saith that the flasks mould with impressions now produced were brought by the Said Jane Smith and Sarah Willson.capt coram me                              John Hughes             J Stanley                     Susan: Hughes
