Gentlemen

Mr. Brydges the Paymaster of Her Majestys Forces having applied to My Lord Treasurer for his Directions as to the rate French Current Money shall be computed at, since her Majesties Forces in Dunkirk will receive their Subsistence in that Specie, I send You by his Lordships Command Mr Brydges's Memoriall relating to that Affair here inclosed, and am to desire that You together with Sir Isaac Newton the Master {&} Worker of her Majestys Mint, (to whom You will please to signifie His Lordships Pleasure in this behalf) will consider the Subject Matter of the said Memoriall And thereupon report Your Opinion to his Lordship what is fit to be done therein Which in the absence of the Secretarys is signified by Your &c 21th. Augt. 1712
