Fol. 3. l. 1. After the words [in the body of this present Act] add the words [with relation to the Mint or Mints in Egland {sic}.] And then add the following clause

And whereas by the Act of Vnion made in the sixt year of Queen Ann a Mint is to be continued in Sco{illeg}|t|land under the same Rules as the Mint in England: Be it further enacted that all the moneys arising in Scotland by this Act shall be issued out of his Mats Exchequer to the Master & Worker or \or Warrant/ Master & Workers of his Maties Mint or Mints in Scotland {or} \for the use & service thereof by such Order/ /or Warrant as by {sic}\ after the same manner that the \like/ moneys arising in England are issued to the Mint\by this & former/ are \& have been/ issued to the Master & Worker or W|M|asters & Workers of his Mats Mint {illeg}|o|r Mints in England |[|by the Order {illeg}|o|r Warrants of the Ld Treasurer of great Britain & {sic} Vnder Treasurer or Lord Co{m}r Commrs of the Treasury or any       or more of them now being or the Lord High Treasurer or any        or more of the Commissioners {illeg}|o|f the Treasury for the time being,|]| to be kept under in his Mats Office of Receipt in the said Mint under the keys of the Master & Work, Warden & Counter Warden or Comptroller of the said Mint \for the time being/ & according to the Manner & Course issued out thence from time to time according to the Course & Manner \& course/ {illeg}|o|f his Majts Mint in England

And it is hereby further enacted that there shall not be issued out from of the Exchequer of the said moneys in one year for the fees & salaries of the Officers of the |sd| Mint {or}|&| \or Mints in Scotland/ Officers who \issue &|th|e said money &/ pass the Accounts |th|of th|ereof|e \said/ moneys & towards the providing maintaining {illeg}|&| repairing of the h|H|ouses Offices & Buildings & other things necessary to the said Mint\incidents of the Mint necessary/ for Assaying melting down & coining above the summ of{illeg}         pounds sterling money, & the overplus of the said moneys so kept or to be kept as aforesaid shall be employed for & towards the expence wast & charge of Assaying melting down >& coinage, & the buying in of gold & silver to {exa} & the necessary charge of incidents wch accompany the coinage\same/\& other incidents of the {illeg}|c|oinage/ & not otherwise.
