And whereas a doubt hath arisen touching the application of the moneys given by the Act made in the seventh year of her Ma^ts reign, entituled an Act for continuing the former Acts for the encouragement of |y^e| coinage & to encourage the bring in|fo|rreign coins & British or forreign pla{illeg}|t|e to be coined & for making provision for the Mints in Scotland &c Be it enacted by the authority afores{i}|a|id that all the moneys arising {in}|b|y the said Act in Scotland be applicable to the service of coinage in the said Mint or Mints in Scotland after the same manner as the moneys arising by the said Act in England are applicable to the service of coinage in the Mint or Mints in England, & in c{illeg}|a|se the said moneys arising \in Scotland/ by the {illeg}|s|aid Act in Scotland prove deficient f{illeg}|o|r the said service then so much as shall be wanting may be supplied out of the moneys arising in England not |[|exceeding the summ of 122^li in any one year|]| provided that the whole exceed not the summ of 1500^li in any one year & that in case of a further di|e|ficiency the payment of the s{illeg}|a|laries be suspended until the coinage at the end {illeg}|o|f every {illeg}|q|uarter be suspended untill the charges of coinage with A {illeg} assaying meltin refining melting & coining w^th y^e |all| charges of instruments too providing & repairing \materials/ tools |&| instruments \& furnaces/ {illeg} & materials\necessaries/ requisite thereunto & of repairing the \the |furnaces| tools &/ Offices for coining be \first/ paid & discharged till |to| the end of that quarter & & satisfied.
