This Depon.t Saith that about 6. months agoe One Thom.s Frott als Carter told him this Sd Depon.t that he the said Carter Coynd Counterfeit Lewisdores, and exchang'd of them for English Money to the vallue of 12. and sometimes 14. pounds sterling a day.    This Depon.t further sayes that he is credibly Inform'd the said Carter carry's on the trade of coyning at this time in the town of Brentford, but in what house this Depon.t knows not.[Editorial Note 1] Capt. et jurat an et die suꝑdict coram me           J.
