|Willts Ss| The Informaion of Rob^t: Hort now a prisoner in y^e Goal at fisherton Anger in y^e S^d county taken upon oath before me this 19^th day of November 1703

This Inform^tt upon his oath saith, y^t on Whitmunday last past, he saw Stephen Holloway of Christian Mallford in the country aforesaid Blacksmith coyn about 3 or 4 Shillings in imitation of the curr^tt coyn of this realm, att this Inform^tt^s house in Calne aforesaid in the S^d county & this informant helped him the S^d Stephen Holloway to make the said counterfeit shillings and this informant further saith y^t one or about the month of August last past att this informants house in Calne aforesaid he saw Arthur Forman of Calne in y^e S^d county Chandler make and coyn severall shillings of counterfeit shills: \mony/ in imitation of y^e curr^tt coyn of this kingdome, and this Inform^tt assisted the S^d Arthur Forman to make y^e S^d counterfeit shills: and this Inform^tt saith that since y^e month of Aug: last past he saw Samuel Hall of Calne afores^d Blacksmith make & coyn 2 shillings of counterfeit money in imitation of the currant coyn of this realme att the S^d Samuel Halls house in Calne afores^d And this informant further saith, that John Fry of Cherhill in the county afores^d Inholder had at two severall times two sum̄s of counterfeit money of this Inform^tt in order to dispose of the same for good money, y^e S^d In^o: Fry knowing y^e same to be counterfeit money, and had y^e same att an under value, and this informant further sayth, y^t Rob:^tt Emett of Mannings hill in y^e county afores^d husbandman had at severall times severall summs of money of y^s Inform^tt of counterfeit money, to putt it off y^e S^d Rob^t: Hort Emett knowing the same to be counterfeit money & had y^e same att an under value Jurat die et anno prius infra script coram me Jo Young Rob^t: Hort
