Who saith yt about 2. months agoe he this Informt did receive from William Montfort one Counterfeit Shilling and gave ye Same unto Joan the wife of David Williams, for which she gave him sixpence of Lawfull money, which Sixpence the very same Instant he this Informt delivered unto the Sd Mr Montfort, And further saith that he ye Sd Montfort did then declare unto the Sd David & Joan his Wife and in ye hearing of this Informant that if they had occasion or conveniency to pay them away, he did know where he could have a Hatfull of ye like Counterfeit money for halfe the vallue in tale of good Money, and further saith that he knew the said Montford in Flanders and that it was strongly reported that he did then & there make Counterfeit money resembling foreign Coyns                          Thomas the W mark of Williams Jurat anno et die ꝑdict coram me J.
