|ditto Ss|The Informaion of Rof|b|ert Mayor taken upon oath this 21.^st of Jan^ry 1700.

Who saith that after John Marshall had app^rehended one James Massey as y^e S^d James was going into the house of M^r Carew the Con.^ble in Drury layn, he saw y^e said James Massey dropp a paper at the door of y^e said Carew, w^ch paper the said Carew took upp, and opening it found therin a peice of false and counterfeit Money made in the im̄itaion, likeness and Similitude of a Spanish pistole, And further this Informant upon his Oath Saith, that he being p^resent when the said Con.^ble Search't the said Massey the S^d Constable took out of one of his said breeches pocketts another paper, in w^ch paꝑ was also another such peice of Money w^ch was false and Counterfeit as aforesaid.
