Iohn Bates formerly examd being further examind this 6th. March 16989 sayes that abot. Iuly 97 he did see Thomas Boddily now Prisoner in Somersett Gaol at his own house in Stourbridge in Worcestrshire coyns Counterfeit Mill'd shillings of K Wills Coyn and abot. the 23d same month did at the same house coyn 10li in Counterfeit milld shillings of K Cha: the 2d. K Iames the 2d. + K William's Coyn which money he carryd and put off (as he told this Examt.) at Bristoll Fair, and that the sd Boddilly did at the same house make an Edging Mill for shills. which this Examt. did see him at work upon and another Witness whom this Examt is able to produce did see him working thereon which mill Boddily delivered this Examt. and is the same Mill with which a Shilling formerly seized upon Henry Dixon Prisoner in the Gaol there was milld and the same Mill was by Boddily and this Examt. afterwards hid and now is (as he believes) under a Timber Plank on the outside of the East part of the Building belonging to the {buil} Ring of the Oat Mill near to this Examinant's Dwelling house at Amblecott
