To ye Rt. honble: The Lord High Treasr.

May it please yor. Lordsp

We humbly take leave to represent to yor. Lordsp that the House in ye Mint belonging to ye Surveyr of the Meltings is so decayed that it cannot be repair'd

That the money allow'd by Act of parliamt. for repaires & buildings in ye Mint is not sufficient to keep all ye Houses in ye Mint in good repairs, that of which are very old & to build new ones

That yor. Lordsp being impower'd by an Act of Parliamt. Anno 1705 to dispose of 500Li: a year for salaries & other services of ye Mint out of which yor. Lordsp: has been pleased to allow 400L: to ye Monyrs for theire maintainance. We humbly pray Yor Lordsp will be please to grant Vs an order for ye remaining 100£ a year for two years to comence from Xmas last past to enable Vs to build a new House for ye Surveyr of ye melting

All which is humbly submitted

to yor. Lordsps great wisdome
