May it please yo^r. Lordsp

We humbly take leave to represent to yo^r. Lordsp that the House in y^e Mint belonging to y^e Survey^r of the Meltings is so decayed that it cannot be repair'd

That the money allow'd by Act of parliam^t. for repaires & buildings in y^e Mint is not sufficient to keep all y^e Houses in y^e Mint in good repairs, that of which are very old & to build new ones

That yo^r. Lordsp being impower'd by an Act of Parliam^t. Anno 1705 to dispose of 500^Li: a year for salaries & other services of y^e Mint out of which yo^r. Lordsp: has been pleased to allow 400^L: to y^e Mony^rs for theire maintainance. We humbly pray Yo^r Lordsp will be please to grant Vs an order for y^e remaining 100£ a year for two years to comence from Xmas last past to enable Vs to build a new House for y^e Survey^r of y^e melting
