Mr: Kidder Assay Master in Ireland having by direction of the Lord Lieutenant there made an Assay of several new Portugal Gold Coins specified in his Report which comes inclosed The Lords Commrs: of his Mats: Treary are pleased to direct you to cause the weight and Assay of the like Coins to be taken here and to report the same to their Lordps with your Opinion at what value they may reasonably go in Ireland in case his Maty: by his Proclamation shall think fit to make them current in that Kingdom I am &c 23 Sepr: 1725
