is a pound & an half, 90 pounds in an hour, & 450 pounds
in 5 hours. The orther 4 or 5 hours may be allowed for
setting or changing the dies, bringing the blanks & carrying
back the new moneyes. Four Labourers & moneyer to
feed the Press comes 14s per 450lb. or 2875d or 38d per ℔

Working at the Marking.
The Engin marks 72 pieces {illeg}or 2 pounds in a
minute, & 600 in 5 hours by the hands of one Moneyer
at 6s per diem. That is 25 for 3d. The other four or
5 hours may be allowed for setting right the Engin & fetching
& carrying the blanks.

One Mill in a day with 6 horses at {{illeg}|3|}s per horse & a
Miller at 3s & a horskeeper at 2s {illeg} will draw

or 20000 half pence or 555{illeg}lwt. that is 555lwt for 276d.

Ten mills working 20 hours pr diem sufficed for coining 96|0|000li per week in shillings & therefore two mills working 10 hours per diem suffice for coining |9000 per week &| 1{6|9|}{9|6|}00li per diem that is 3{illeg}|0|000 pieces, & so many half pence {illeg} \amount to/ {illeg}|833|lwt of copper per diem. And if the copper go but twice through the Mills the two mills will sufice for coyning 12{illeg}|5|0 per diem

A Press strikes 54 times a minute & therefore by continual working coins 90lwt in an hour & {illeg}|4|05li in 412 hours. The rest of ye day is allowed for setting right the Presses Dyes & carrying the blanks & money to & fro. A moneyer & 4 labourers come to 14s per day that is 168405d = 37d.

A Cutter makes 60 blanks in 500li of half penny blanks in a day. And two Mills two shilling Cu half penny cutters & two\one/ farthing cutter make 12{illeg}|5|0l{illeg}wt of Blanks per diem, By the help of one Moneyer one at 6s {one}|two| Millers at 3s each {o}|t|wo labourers & a horskeeper at 2s each & 12       horses at 3s each, in all at 54s pr diem that is at 12d per lwt.

{{illeg}|A|} p|h|alf penny flatter a day & a farthing flatter half a day comes to 16|2|s per 1250lwt or 1{?}d per lwt

A marking engin comes to 8s per 4000lwt or 14d per lwt, & the lettered Keeping the Engines in repair plates to 112d per lwt
