Having been asked their opinion of a proposal to pardon the counterfeiters Jane Housden and Mary Pitman, observe that this is Pitman's first offence but Housden has a previous conviction for counterfeiting, besides other convictions for clipping and for receiving counterfeit money.

Sent by Newton and the comptroller in the absence of the warden, who would normally be responsible for such matters.
