                <p rend="center" xml:id="par1"><hi rend="large">An Account</hi> of the Gold &amp; Silver coyned at his <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">tys</hi></abbr><expan>majestys</expan></choice> Mint in <lb xml:id="l1"/>the Tower of London from Lady day 1713 to Lady day 1715, <lb xml:id="l2"/>&amp; of the Gold &amp; Silver remaining in the Tower in order <lb xml:id="l3"/>for coynage at Lady day 1715, &amp; of the Denominations <lb xml:id="l4"/>&amp; species in <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> the said Gold &amp; Silver were brought <lb xml:id="l5"/>into the Tower. <space dim="vertical" unit="lines" extent="3"/></p>
                
                <p xml:id="par2"><hi rend="large">From</hi> Lady day 1713 to Lady day 1715 there were coyned 44179 <lb xml:id="l6"/>pounds weight Troy of standard Gold, &amp; 3899 pounds weight Troy of <lb xml:id="l7"/>standard <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">s</add>ilver. This Gold at forty four Guineas &amp; an half to the pound <lb xml:id="l8"/>weight Troy <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">&amp;</add> one pound one shilling &amp; six pence t<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">o</add> the Guinea, <lb xml:id="l9"/>amounted in tale to 2113412<hi rend="superscript"><hi rend="overline">li</hi></hi>. 18<hi rend="superscript">s</hi>. 3<hi rend="superscript">d</hi>.                 <p xml:id="par3">At Lady day 1715 there remained in the Tower to be coyned <lb xml:id="l11"/>6464<hi rend="superscript">Lw<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></hi>. 11<hi rend="superscript">oz</hi>. 2<hi rend="superscript">dw<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></hi>. 5<hi rend="superscript">gr</hi> of standard gold, &amp; 278<hi rend="superscript">Lw<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></hi>. 4<hi rend="superscript">oz</hi>. 11<hi rend="superscript">dw<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></hi> of standard <lb xml:id="l12"/>silver. And this gold at the rate above mentioned will make in <lb xml:id="l13"/><add place="supralinear lineBeginning" indicator="yes">tale</add> 309265<hi rend="superscript"><hi rend="overline">li</hi></hi>. 17<hi rend="superscript">s</hi>. 7<hi rend="superscript">d</hi>, &amp; the silver will make 862<hi rend="superscript"><hi rend="overline">li</hi></hi>. 19<hi rend="superscript">s</hi>. 06<hi rend="superscript">d</hi>.</p>

                <p xml:id="par4"><del type="strikethrough">We must respect from dead works</del> By repentance from dead works he means <lb xml:id="l14"/>repentance from idolatry ambition covetousness &amp; unchastity. For we promise in <lb xml:id="l15"/>baptism to forsake the d<del type="over">i</del><add place="over" indicator="no">e</add>vil &amp; all his works the pomp &amp; covetous desires of <lb xml:id="l16"/>the world &amp; the carnal desires of the flesh. <del type="cancelled"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del> That devil who is opposed to God <lb xml:id="l17"/><del type="strikethrough">who is the father on the wicked &amp; <del type="cancelled"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="words" extent="1"/></del> is worshipped by his children</del> <del type="strikethrough">&amp; is the father <lb xml:id="l18"/>of the <del type="cancelled"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="3"/></del><del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">w</add>icked &amp; whom they worship.</del> Resist the Devil &amp; he will fly from you</p>
                
                <p xml:id="par5">God hath commanded us that we should have no other Gods them him<add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">self</add> <del type="cancelled">that</del> <lb xml:id="l19"/><del type="strikethrough">We may give the name of Gods to other beings</del><add place="supralinear" indicator="no">that is in our worship<choice><sic>.</sic><corr type="noText"/></choice></add>. We may give the name of <lb xml:id="l20"/>Gods to other Beings as is frequently done in scripture. Aaron shall be to thee a <lb xml:id="l21"/>mouth &amp; thou shal<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">t</add> bee to him a God Exod IV. 16. See I have made thee a God to <lb xml:id="l22"/>Pharaoh &amp; Aaron thy brother shall be thy Prophet Exod. VII. I. The Lord <choice><abbr>yo<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>your</expan></choice> God <lb xml:id="l23"/>is Gold of G<del type="over">o</del><add place="over" indicator="no">O</add>DS Dan. XI. 36. <add place="supralinear" indicator="no">I have said <choice><abbr>ye</abbr><expan>thee</expan></choice> are Gods but <choice><abbr>ye</abbr><expan>thee</expan></choice> shall dye like me Psal LXXXII. 6.</add> Is it not written in <choice><abbr>yo<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>your</expan></choice> law, I said <choice><abbr>ye<del type="cancelled"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="2"/></del></abbr><expan>thee</expan></choice> are Gods <lb xml:id="l24"/>If he c<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">a</add>lled them Gods <del type="cancelled">to</del> unto who whom the word of God came &amp; scripture <lb xml:id="l25"/>cannot be broken &amp;c <choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>ohn X. 34, 35. <add place="supralinear" indicator="no">Th<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">o</add>u shalt not revile the Gods nor curse the ruler of thy people Exod XXII 28</add> Then Manoah knew that he was an <del type="over"><unclear reason="del" cert="low">a</unclear></del><add place="over" indicator="no">A</add>ngel <lb xml:id="l26"/>of the Lord &amp; Manoah said, We shall dye because we have seen Gold Iudg. <del type="cancelled">XXII</del> <lb xml:id="l27"/>XIII. 22. The Angel of the Lord appeared unto Moses in a flame of fire out of <lb xml:id="l28"/>the midst of a bush — &amp; said, I am the God of thy father &amp;c Exod III. 2, 6. There are <lb xml:id="l29"/>Gods many &amp; Lords many I Cor. VIII. 5. They heard the voyce of the Lord God walking <lb xml:id="l30"/>in the Garden Gen.. III. 8. <del type="strikethrough">The Gods <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> worship are not Gods (<space dim="horizontal" unit="chars" extent="10"/>) that <lb xml:id="l31"/>is they are not such Gods as <choice><abbr>ye</abbr><expan>thee</expan></choice> take them to be<del type="cancelled"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="2"/></del></del> Angels &amp; <del type="cancelled">King</del> Princes who <lb xml:id="l32"/>have power &amp; dominion over us we may <del type="strikethrough">give the names of</del> call Gods but <lb xml:id="l33"/>we are to have no other <add place="supralinear" indicator="no"><del type="strikethrough">we are not to worship them as</del></add> Gods in <choice><abbr>o<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>our</expan></choice> worship b<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">u</add>t him who in the fourth <lb xml:id="l34"/>commandment is said to have made the heaven &amp; earth; <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> is the character <lb xml:id="l35"/>of God the father. <del type="strikethrough">For <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="4"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no"><unclear reason="over" cert="high">saith</unclear></add> <unclear reason="copy" cert="low">(</unclear>he</del> <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">In this sense the Apostle tells us that an Idol is nothing in the world &amp; that</add> <add place="infralinear" indicator="no">there is none other God but one. For tho, saith he,</add> there, <del type="over">y</del><add place="over" indicator="no">b</add>e that are called Gods <del type="strikethrough">(</del>whether in <lb xml:id="l36"/>heaven or in earth (as there be Gods many &amp; Lords many) yet to us <del type="blockStrikethrough"><add place="inline" indicator="no">[</add>in our <lb xml:id="l37"/>worship<add place="inline" indicator="no">]</add></del> there is <del type="strikethrough">no other</del> but one God, the father <lb xml:id="l38"/>of whom are all things <lb xml:id="l39"/>&amp; we in him; &amp; one Lord Iesus Christ <del type="strikethrough">&amp; we by him</del> by whom are all <lb xml:id="l40"/>things &amp; we by him. 1 Cor <del type="over">8</del><add place="over" indicator="no">V</add>III. One God whom we are to worship as the <lb xml:id="l41"/>father &amp; author of all things <del type="cancelled"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del> the God who sits upon the throne in the <lb xml:id="l42"/>Temple &amp; <del type="cancelled"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="3"/></del> whom the <del type="cancelled">f<gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="4"/> <gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del> people <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">&amp; their elders</add> <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">r</add>epresented by the four Beasts <lb xml:id="l43"/>&amp; 24 Elders worship <del type="strikethrough">as the God that liv<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">e</add>th</del> by giving him glory &amp; honour <lb xml:id="l44"/>&amp; thanks &amp; saying thou art worth<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="2"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">y</add> <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">O Lord</add> to receive glory &amp; honour &amp; power <lb xml:id="l45"/>for thou hast created all things &amp; for thy pleasure they are &amp; were <lb xml:id="l46"/>created. And one Lord Lord Iesus Christ <del type="strikethrough">who</del> before whom the four Beasts <lb xml:id="l47"/>&amp; 24 Elders fall down &amp; worship <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">as the Lord the Messi<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">a</add>h or Christ</add> saying with a loud voyce, Worthy is <lb xml:id="l48"/>the Lamb that was slain to receive power &amp; riches &amp; <del type="strikethrough">honour</del> wisdome <lb xml:id="l49"/>&amp; strength &amp; honour &amp; glory &amp; blessing.
