Who saith that he has been acquainted with one Marg.tMargret the wife of Peter Whittencombe of the Parish of S.t Giles's in the Feilds for about two years Last past, and further he saith ytthat he hath seen the said Marg.tMargret in Company with William Goslin and James Sum̄ers in a Garrot of one Widdow Thorntons by Nibs's Pound in the parish of S.t Martins in yethe feilds about a week ago and there he this Informant did see the said Margret Whittencombe William Goslin and James Sum̄ers make and Mould the Impressions of a Shilling with a B upon it and likewsie the Impressions of Sixpences with Spand in Flasks, And saith further ytthat he hath Seen the said Margret Whittencombe, William Goslin and James Sum̄ers melt Pewther and Tyn Glass togeather in a firepan and to pour the same Mettle into yethe flasks Moulded as aforesdaforesaid. And he this InformtInformant further saith ytthat he hath heard the aforesaid James Sum̄ers say that he had for a long time practised casting for at least 7. Years before he was Master enough to make a compleat Shilling; And also ytthat he had heard yethe SdSaid Sum̄ers Say that he had for a long time practised the Casting of Counterfeit Halpence, and colour them over with Vittriole, so ytthat they lookt like Copper. / And further saith that Peter Whittencomb aforesaid knew that the said Margret his Wife did Counterfeit the Curr.ntCurrant Coyn of this Kingdome as aforesaid and was privy thereto, and did assist in the putting off the SdSaid Counterfeit Money by them so made.
