                <p rend="center" xml:id="par1">The Examina<choice><orig><hi rend="overline">c</hi></orig><reg>ti</reg></choice>on of Ann Duncomb of Liccabone Street <lb xml:id="l1"/>in the <choice><orig>ꝑ</orig><reg>par</reg></choice>ish of S<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>. Andrews Holborn in the said County <lb xml:id="l2"/>of <choice><abbr>M<hi rend="overline">iddx</hi></abbr><expan>Middlesex</expan></choice> Spinster taken this 19<hi rend="superscript">th</hi>. day Sep<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> 1699</p>
                
                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par2">Who saith that one Thomas Kirke brought to this <choice><abbr>Exam<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>Examinant</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l3"/>this morning four counterfeit pistols and desired her <lb xml:id="l4"/>to guild them for him but this <choice><abbr>Exam<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>Examinant</expan></choice> refused to guild the <lb xml:id="l5"/>same but Kirk desired her to take and keep them <lb xml:id="l6"/>till this noon and that then he would call for them but this <lb xml:id="l7"/>forenoon one Rob<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>. Saker and some others came to <lb xml:id="l8"/>this Examinant's Lodging Room in Lucabone Street <lb xml:id="l9"/>and found there in 6 counterfeit pistolls 4 of which were <lb xml:id="l10"/>those which were left with her by Kirk as afore<choice><abbr>sd</abbr><expan>said</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l11"/>but the other two this <choice><abbr>Exam<hi rend="superscript">t</hi>.</abbr><expan>Examinant</expan></choice> knows not how they <lb xml:id="l12"/>were brought into the said room nor who made <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">m</hi>.</abbr><expan>them</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l13"/>but that she had seen them in a Drawer in the <choice><abbr><hi rend="overline">sd</hi></abbr><expan>said</expan></choice> room <lb xml:id="l14"/>before this day and the said 2 Counterfeit Spanish <lb xml:id="l15"/>pistols were taken this forenoon out of her pocket <lb xml:id="l16"/>by a <choice><abbr>C<hi rend="overline">onble</hi></abbr><expan>Constable</expan></choice> as she supposes And that she hath seen <lb xml:id="l17"/>the said Thomas Kirk and one M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi>. Fletcher once or <lb xml:id="l18"/>twice within this fortnight or 3 weeks in company <lb xml:id="l19"/>with <choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>ohn Ignatius Lawson at his Lodging room in <lb xml:id="l20"/>Lucabone street aforesaid<choice><orig>–</orig><reg>.</reg></choice> And that one of the <lb xml:id="l21"/>two Scratch brushes now produced was hers this <lb xml:id="l22"/>Examinant's and the other was brought to by the said <lb xml:id="l23"/>Thomas Kirk and that <choice><sic>that</sic><corr type="noText"/></choice> the leaf Gold which is <lb xml:id="l24"/>now produced and which was this day found in her <lb xml:id="l25"/>Lodging room afore<choice><abbr>sd</abbr><expan>said</expan></choice> she bought the same this forenoon <lb xml:id="l26"/>in order to guild over the said 4 Counterfeit Pistolls <lb xml:id="l27"/>which Kirk left with her as aforesaid and that the <choice><abbr>sd</abbr><expan>said</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l28"/>Thomas Kirk gave her 2<hi rend="superscript">s</hi> this morning to buy the same</p>
