                <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par1">After my hearty Commenda<choice><orig>c</orig><reg>ti</reg></choice>ons upon Considerat<choice><orig><hi rend="overline">on</hi></orig><reg>ion</reg></choice> of the <lb xml:id="l1"/>aforegoing Report made to me by the Barons of her <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">es</hi>:</abbr><expan>Majesties</expan></choice> Court of <lb xml:id="l2"/><choice><abbr>Excheq<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>Exchequer</expan></choice> in Scotland relating to the Demands of the provost &amp; Monyers <lb xml:id="l3"/>of her <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">es</hi>:</abbr><expan>Majesties</expan></choice> Mint in the Tower of London on account of the <lb xml:id="l4"/>Recoynage of the Monyes in Scotland upon the Vnion, and alsoe <lb xml:id="l5"/>of the Annexed <choice><sic>Cirtificate</sic><corr>Certificate</corr></choice> in that matter (referr'd to be the said <lb xml:id="l6"/>Barons) of the Warden and Comptroller of her <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">es</hi>:</abbr><expan>Majesties</expan></choice> Mint at Edinburgh <lb xml:id="l7"/>whereby it appears that the sume of Two Thousand Six hundred <lb xml:id="l8"/>Ninety two pounds fifteen shillings and three pence half penny <lb xml:id="l9"/>is still remaining due to the said provost and <choice><abbr>Mony<hi rend="superscript">rs</hi></abbr><expan>Monyers</expan></choice> for that <lb xml:id="l10"/>Recoynage upon the severall Allowances setled for the same <lb xml:id="l11"/>by her <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">es</hi>:</abbr><expan>Majesties</expan></choice> Warrant bearing date the 12 Day of Iuly 1707, These <lb xml:id="l12"/>are in pursuance of the Authority to me given by a Clause in <lb xml:id="l13"/>an Act of <choice><abbr>Parliam<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>Parliament</expan></choice> entitled (An Act for charging &amp; continuing <lb xml:id="l14"/>the Dutys upon Malt Mum Cyder and Perry for the service <lb xml:id="l15"/>of the year 1712 and for applying part of the Coynage Duty <lb xml:id="l16"/>to pay the <choice><sic>Deffiency</sic><corr>Deficiency</corr></choice> of the Value of plate Coyned and to pay for <lb xml:id="l17"/>the recoyning of the <choice><sic>the</sic><corr type="noText"/></choice> old Money in Scotland) to Authorize and <lb xml:id="l18"/>require you out of such Money as is or shall be in your hands <lb xml:id="l19"/>of the Coynage Duty to pay unto the said Provost and <choice><abbr>Mony<hi rend="superscript">rs</hi></abbr><expan>Monyers</expan></choice> <lb xml:id="l20"/>or to whome they shall appoynt to receive the same the <lb xml:id="l21"/>said sume of Two Thousand Six hundred Ninety Two pounds <lb xml:id="l22"/>fifteen shillings and three pence half penny in full satisfaction <lb xml:id="l23"/>of what remains due to them upon the severall Allowances <lb xml:id="l24"/>setled by her <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">es</hi>:</abbr><expan>Majesties</expan></choice> said warrant for or upon account of the <lb xml:id="l25"/>Recoynage aforesaid and of all Demands any wayes relating <lb xml:id="l26"/>thereunto And for so doing this being first entered with the <lb xml:id="l27"/>Auditors of her <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">es</hi>.</abbr><expan>Majesties</expan></choice> Imprests and in the office of the Queens <lb xml:id="l28"/>Remembrances in Scotland and <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">th</hi>:</abbr><expan>with</expan></choice> the Auditors there to the end <lb xml:id="l29"/>her <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ty</hi>:</abbr><expan>Majesty</expan></choice> may not be liable to any Double <choice><abbr>paym<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi>:</abbr><expan>payments</expan></choice> or Demands <lb xml:id="l30"/>of the said sum or any part thereof shall be as well to <lb xml:id="l31"/>you for payment as to the said Auditors of Imprests
