Mr Haywood the Lt.Lieutenant GovrGovernor of Iamaica having by his Letter (of wchwhich I inclose you a Copy) acquainted my Lords of the TrearyTreasury, that the Lord Archibald Hamilton upon his going off from that Island deposited with him 1481 Ounces of Spanish Silver Coyn, and thereby desired (in as much as the said Money was a seizure & supposed to belong to pirates) their Lordships DireconsDirections what he should do therewith; Their LordpsLordship have Orderd the said LieutLieutenant GovrGovernor to consigne the said Silver to you by the first & safest Conveyance as you will find by the inclosed Copy of the Letter to him on that occasion; I am therefore by their LordpsLordships Com̄mmand to desire you (as soon as the said silver comes to hand) to cause the same to be Coyned, & pay the proceed thereof into the RectReceipt of his MatsMajestys Exchequer taking a Tally for the same in the name of the said Mr Haywood, as the proceed of the said silver paid in by your hands I am &ca. 11th Ianry 1716
