All <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> &amp;c <space dim="vertical" unit="lines" extent="6"/></p>
        
        <p xml:id="par3">In obedience to <choice><abbr>yo<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>your</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>Lo<hi rend="superscript">ps</hi></abbr><expan>Lordships</expan></choice> Order of Reference of <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> 26<hi rend="superscript">t</hi> of Iuly last <lb xml:id="l12"/>upon the annexed Proposal of M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> <choice><orig>I</orig><reg>J</reg></choice>ohn Williams for disposing of her <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ts</hi></abbr><expan>Majestys</expan></choice> Tinn <lb xml:id="l13"/>spe<add place="inline" indicator="no">e</add>dily &amp; profitably by raising the price of <add place="inline" indicator="no">it,</add> we have had several meetings with <lb xml:id="l14"/>him to be informed of his proposal &amp; particularly about the Tin brought by the <lb xml:id="l15"/>Dutch from the East Indies. But finding M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Williams could give us no <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">satisfactory</add> account <lb xml:id="l16"/>of that Trade, we for <choice><abbr>o<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>our</expan></choice> better information had a meeting with some of <lb xml:id="l17"/>the most considerable East India Merchants, who were all of Opinion contrary <lb xml:id="l18"/>to what is alleged in <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Proposal that great quanti<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">t</add>y of Tin may be had in <lb xml:id="l19"/>the <del type="strikethrough">Indies</del> East Indies fit for use <del type="over">&amp;</del><add place="over" indicator="no">of</add> <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>that</expan></choice> if <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>that</expan></choice> price of it be raised considerably <lb xml:id="l20"/>here, it may be an encouragement to <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">t</hi></abbr><expan>that</expan></choice> Dutch to import more then at p<choice><orig><hi rend="superscript">r</hi></orig><reg>re</reg></choice>sent. <lb xml:id="l21"/>We are also humbly of opinion that it may not only tend to alter the course <lb xml:id="l22"/>of <del type="cancelled"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del> Trade <del type="cancelled"><unclear reason="del" cert="medium">but</unclear></del> in Tin but <del type="strikethrough">may</del><add place="supralinear" indicator="no">will</add> also lessen the consumption of Pewter at home <lb xml:id="l23"/>&amp; the exportation thereof into other countries.</p>
