    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par3"><hi rend="large">V</hi>pon a memorial of M<hi rend="superscript">r</hi> Drummond Warden of her <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ties</hi>:</abbr><expan>Majesties</expan></choice> Mint <lb xml:id="l2"/>at Edinburgh and a Report made thereupon by the Officers of <lb xml:id="l3"/>her <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">ties</hi>:</abbr><expan>Majesties</expan></choice> Mint in the Tower of London; Her <choice><abbr>Ma<hi rend="superscript">tie</hi>.</abbr><expan>Majestie</expan></choice> haveing been <lb xml:id="l4"/>pleased by her Warrant dated Iuly 12<hi rend="superscript">th</hi> to send Monyers from the <lb xml:id="l5"/>Mint in the Tower with an allowance of 9<hi rend="superscript">d</hi> per pound weight Troy <lb xml:id="l6"/>for the Coynage of the Silver Monies at Edinburgh besides <lb xml:id="l7"/>Tools horses firing, and Allume for their use and the charges of their <lb xml:id="l8"/>Iourney thither and back and a Maintenance during their stay there <lb xml:id="l9"/>when there is not work sufficient to maintain them: I have hitherto <lb xml:id="l10"/>advanced money or these services that the Coynage might receive <lb xml:id="l11"/>no stop, But these charges being Extraordinary except the 9<hi rend="superscript">d</hi> per pound <lb xml:id="l12"/>weight, I humbly pray that they may be allowed in my Accompts as <lb xml:id="l13"/>incident Charges and that monyes may be Imprest from <choice><abbr>y<hi rend="superscript">e</hi></abbr><expan>the</expan></choice> Collector <lb xml:id="l14"/>of the Coynage Bullion towards bearing these charges untill my <lb xml:id="l15"/>Accounts can be stated.</p>
    
    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par4"><hi rend="large">I</hi> pray also that moneys may be advanced to me for defraying the <lb xml:id="l16"/>Incident charges of Refineing.</p>
    
    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par5"><hi rend="large">A</hi>nd Whereas by order of her <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ties</hi>:</abbr><expan>Majesties</expan></choice> Right <choice><abbr>Hon<hi rend="superscript">ble</hi>:</abbr><expan>Honourable</expan></choice> privy Councill <lb xml:id="l17"/>of Scotland I have hitherto melted the old moneys into Ingotts <lb xml:id="l18"/>to be Recoyned and the charge of this melting ought to be born <lb xml:id="l19"/>by the Importer and is commonly rated at a penny per pound <lb xml:id="l20"/>weight and I have hitherto received no Monyes for this <choice><orig>ꝑ</orig><reg>per</reg></choice>formance <lb xml:id="l21"/>I humbly pray that for Enableing me to go through this service <lb xml:id="l22"/>I may be paid for it out of the proper Fund 10<hi rend="superscript">sh</hi>: I conceive to be <lb xml:id="l23"/>the Equivalent</p>
