    <p xml:id="par3"><hi rend="large">In</hi> obedience to your <choice><abbr>Lord<hi rend="superscript">ps</hi></abbr><expan>Lordships</expan></choice> Order of the 3<hi rend="superscript">d</hi> Order of the 3<hi rend="superscript">d</hi> Instant we have <lb xml:id="l2"/>considered the Inventory therewith sent us of Tools &amp; other <lb xml:id="l3"/>necessaries proposed to be provided in London for the use of her <lb xml:id="l4"/><choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ties</hi></abbr><expan>Majesties</expan></choice> Mint in Scotland, &amp; are humbly of Opinion, that besides <lb xml:id="l5"/>the two Pyles of Standard weights, two Triall pieces for crown gold <lb xml:id="l6"/>&amp; two <del type="cancelled">standard</del> Trial pieces for standard silver mentioned in <choice><abbr>o<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>our</expan></choice> late <lb xml:id="l7"/>report of March <space dim="horizontal" unit="chars" extent="3"/> it may be convenient to sent to them from <lb xml:id="l8"/>her <choice><abbr>Maj<hi rend="superscript">ties</hi></abbr><expan>Majesties</expan></choice> Mint in the Tower the things <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">ch</hi></abbr><expan>which</expan></choice> we have here set <lb xml:id="l9"/>down <choice><abbr>w<hi rend="superscript">th</hi></abbr><expan>with</expan></choice> their prizes as follows.</p>

    <p rend="indent0" xml:id="par4">If more sets of these things be wanted they may be either bought in shops <lb xml:id="l10"/>or made in Scotland by the<del type="cancelled">se</del> patterns above mentioned<add place="inline interlinear" indicator="no">, or sent from the Tower <lb xml:id="l11"/>if <choice><abbr>yo<hi rend="superscript">r</hi></abbr><expan>your</expan></choice> <choice><abbr>Lo<hi rend="superscript">p</hi></abbr><expan>Lordship</expan></choice> pleases.</add></p>
    
    <p xml:id="par5">The blistered steel, the German steel, the Mercury, Alume, <del type="strikethrough">Vitriol</del> <lb xml:id="l12"/>Winestone, Charcoal, Bone-ashes, Coppel molds, Mufflers, Essay Ballances, <lb xml:id="l13"/>Bras Calms, Files, Brushes, Table Vice, Grindstones, Oylestones &amp; Sweep-<lb xml:id="l14"/>Miln are usefull in coyning, <del type="over">&amp;</del><add place="over" indicator="no">b</add><add place="inline" indicator="no">ut</add> may be provided by the Officers of th<del type="over">a</del><add place="over" indicator="no">e</add><del type="cancelled">t</del> <lb xml:id="l15"/>Mint <add place="supralinear" indicator="yes">in Scotland</add> as formerly, they being to be had in shops, &amp; the new Mint not <lb xml:id="l16"/>differing in these things from the old. We do not think it necessary <lb xml:id="l17"/>that all these things sho<del type="over"><unclear reason="del" cert="low">l</unclear></del><add place="over" indicator="no">u</add>ld be sent from London, but have not<lb type="hyphenated" xml:id="l18"/>withstanding set down in the schedu<del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">l</add>e annexed the prizes in Lond<choice><orig><hi rend="overline">o</hi></orig><reg>on</reg></choice> <lb xml:id="l19"/>of all the things in their <del type="over"><gap reason="illgblDel" unit="chars" extent="1"/></del><add place="over" indicator="no">I</add>nventory, excepting that we do not <lb xml:id="l20"/>know what they mean by a sizing Miln &amp; Iusting Flots <add place="supralinear" indicator="no">large scratches half wier</add>, there <lb xml:id="l21"/>being no such names of things in use amongst us.</p>
