Whereas Wee are informed that by reason of the often meeting of the Officers of orour Mint about the Melting, recoyning, and delivering of the late Crosse and Harpe money, there hath bin a more then ordinary Expence made in Dyet, an allowance whereof cannot be given by yethe Audrs.Auditors of orour mint into yethe Warden upon his acctsaccounts, wihout orour especiall WarrtWarrant (notwithstanding the same has bin done by orour Command) and in ordrorder to orour Service) and whereas these may likewise speedily be occasion of more frequent meetings of orour said Officers concerning yethe telling melting downe, assaying, coyning and delivering and of orour TrearyTreasury lately come from france orour will and Pleasure is and Wee doe hereby require and authorize SrSir Wm Parkhurst and SrSir Ant: SrSir Leger Kts.Knights Wardens of orour Mint duely and from time to time to pay but Bills of charges for dyet and other extraordinary Expences in RelaconRelation to orour service in yethe Mint as now are due ofr here after shall be due & dddeduct unto ymmthem undr.under yethe accountmt.accountment of yethe Mastr.Master Comptroller & assay master or any two of them the MattrMatter alwaies to be one according to yethe powers graunted by us in yethe Indenture of the mint. And we doe hereby likewise com̄mmand and authorize yethe AudrAuditor of orour mints for the time being to allow unto yethe sdsaid Wardens or upon AcctsAccounts all such Bills for dyett and other Extraordinary expences accordingly and this shall be yryour warrant for so doing given undrunder at orour Court at whitehall 13 day of Decr 1662
