The Deposition of Wm. Chambers of the parish of St Martins in the fields apprentice 29 November 1698

Who saith that on Saturday morning last one Eliz Bacon now in custody came to this Informant + askt him if there was not a Gentlewoman lodged in the house where he lived that had a house to let that stood in Shandois street that formerly was a Coffeehouse + this Deponent call'd one Sarah Parson to {her} who went along with the said Bacon to shew her the said house as she the said Parson told afterwards
