Information of Ioseph Wildman Serjeant of Coll Watkins's Company tion first Regiment of Guards Octobr. 20 1698

This Informant says that on Tuesday last he askt James Pritchard to change him half a Crown which he did accordingly and 2s + 6d one of which shillings and the 6d. He did afterwards find to be counterfeit whereupon he acquainted his Colonel with it and shewed him the shilling which he has now to produce imediatly upon this the Colonel ordered him to seize the said Pritchard but he couldn't find him till this morning and by the command of the Colonel he carryed him prisoner to the Savoy, since the apprehending this Pritchard this Informant has heard severall soldjers say that he has often made his braggs that he has coynd as much money as would pay the Regiment
