My Lord Trearer having received the Inclosed Letter from the Earl of Lauderdale General of Her Mats: Mint at Edenburgh touching the Tryal of the pix in that Mint, His Lordship directs you to peruse the said Letter and to Report to Him as soon as you can, what Direcīons You think may be proper to be given for transporting the said pix hither, what officers will be necessary to attend at the tryal thereof. and in what manner the charge of transporting it may be defrayed together with such other matters as you shall think proper to observe to His Lordship thereupon I am
