To the Rt. Honble: the Lords Commrs: of His Mats: Treary

The Memorial of Sr. Richard Sandford Bart. of His Mats: Mint.

Sheweth

That the Late Wardens of the Mint have been allowed a Clerk for assisting them in prosecuting Clippers and Counterfeiters of the coine and the charges of the Prosecutions not exceeding 400 ꝑ Ann being now by Act of Parliamt. made payable out of the Coinage Duty and a Person skilled in the methods of Executing Warrants and carrying on the Prosecutions at Assizes and at the old Bailey haveing been allowed to former wardens and very necessary now, I humbly Pray your Lordships Order in this matter, and about money for bearing the Charges of such prosecutions and the methods of Accounting first so that this service may be carried on in the cheapest and best manner

All which is most humbly submitted to your Lordships great Wisd.
