After Our hearty Commendacons By Virtue of his Ma^ties. Gen^l Letters Patents Dormant bearing Date the 14^th. day of August 1714 These are to Pray and require Your Lord^p. to dray {sic} an Order for Paying unto S^r Isaac Newton Kn^t or to his Assign's the Sum̄ of Thirty Pounds without Account to reimburse the like Sum by him Advanced to Thomas Hamilton who is gone or going Down to Scotland with his Brother Iames Hamilton (to whom alike Sum̄ hath been issued) about the Affair of the Silver Mine said to be Discovered there The said Sum̄ of Thirty Pounds being intended not only to Defray the said Thomas Hamiltons charges in going Down but also During his stay there. And let the said ORder be Satisfyed out of any his Ma^ts. Treasure or Revenue being and remaining in the receipt of the Exchequer applicable to the Vses of His Ma^ties. Civil Government And for so doing this shall be Your Lord^ps. Warrant Whitehall Treasury Chambers the 5^th. day of September 1716.

After Our hearty Commendations By Virtue of His Ma^ts. General Letter Patents Dormant bearing Date the 14^th. day of August 1714 These are to Pray and require Your Lord^p to Draw an Order for Paying unto Iohn Francis Fauquire or to his Assignes the Sum of One hundred Eighty Two Pounds without Acco^t. The same being intended to be applyed and Paid Over by him unto Iustus Branshagen Iames Hamilton and Thomas Hamilton to Satisfye the Several and respective Ballances which appear to remaine due to him severally for their several and respective Services and Expences in and about their journying to Scotland and back again and their and every of their inspecting and Working or trying y^e working of a Mine there reputed to be a Silver Mine according to the Vnderwritten Statement of their Prospective Acco^ts. upon the foot of S^r Isaac Newtons report to whom the Examinacon of their several and respective pretencons was referred by Vs That is to say
