Mr Drummond \by a warrant/ Octob. 20 1704 had 400 Tunns of Tin consigned to him & Company at Amsterdam to be disposed of at ye best rate not under 4412 Guilders pr hundred merchant wt of holland for a commission of two pr Cent clear of all charges. The charges at home 1242l. {illeg}|1|8s. 10d including 1200li for customes: wch is after the rate of 3s. 1d14 per C.

The like quantity was consigned to him {illeg}|8| Iune 1705 on the same terms. The charges at home 1266. 19. 2.

The first parcel by sale produced 330411gild. 16 stivers = \31467li. 14s./

The 2d parcel produced 332389gild 18st = 316{9|6|7}|456|. 3. 712

And recconing 10|12|guilders to a pounds sterling the {illeg} first produced 3li 18. 8d sterling per C averdupois. The second produced 3. 19s. 2d. The second first was sold in about \14 or/ 15 months the second in about 10 {illeg}\clear of all charges/ These two parcels were sold in about two years, the first in more then a year, the second in less.

The 20th of Feb 1705, Mr Stratford & Mr Freed had 240 Tunns of Tin consignd to them upon ye same terms as the former was to {illeg}|m|r Drummond. The charges at home 765li. 10s. 8d. It produced {illeg}|c|lear of all charges 32264l. 19s. 2d flemish including a loss of 16 blocks of Tin valued at 367. 0. {illeg}|0| flemish after the rate of 33s Flemish to a pound sterling. And by consequence 19{7}{illeg}|563|. 1{5}|2|. 0 sterling {illeg} that is after the rate of 4li 1s. 6d pr C The Queen lost 490li Flemish \interest/ & 16 blocks valued at 367li Flemish, in all 857li Flemish = 519li. 8ssterling wch is after the rate of 2s 2d pr C.
