In Obedien{illeg}|c|e to yor Lordps Order of Refer|e{illeg}|ce|| that I should re{illeg}|p|ort my opinion upon the Petition for fu of Mr Wm Wood for a Warrant t{illeg}|o| furnish the Mint with fin{illeg}|e| copper in {illeg}|b|arrs duly sized at 1712d pr {illeg}|lwt| after the 30 T{illeg}|o|nns agreed for at 1{illeg}|8|d pr lwt be coined, I hum{illeg}|b|ly represent that {illeg}|i|f Mr Wood will furnish the Mint such\f|w|ith fine {illeg} such/ c{illeg}|o|pper, prepared by the battering Mi{illeg}|ll|s|,| (as the specimen was which I had of him|,|) I am ready to receive a Tonn or two {p} every Month for s \at that price/ till next Michaelmass \or lon{illeg}|g|er if the {sic} be occasion/. But if he intends to prepare it some other way, of wch he has not \yet/ given me a specimen, I desire that a specimen {illeg}|o|f such work as he intends t{illeg}|o| furnish me with may be sent int{illeg}|o| the Mint to be assayed before he begins to bring in a great quantity.
