Whereas by Warrant under or signe manual dated the 30th day of Iuly {has}{be} Inst{illeg}|a|nt we directed you the Master & Worker of or Mint \in the Tower of London/ to pay unto each of the Importers of Plate whose Receipts are dated \on or/ after the 15th day of May at the rate of five shillings per ounce for the plate Imported Our further Will & pleasure is that out of such moneys as shall remain in your hands to be imprested to you or advanced by your for this service you pay off the remainder of the [{illeg}|sa|id receipts so as fully to discharge the same & take them back. And for so doing this shall be your {illeg}|W|arrant.] moneys for wch the said Receipts were given, that is to say five pence per Ounce i{n}{illeg} old standard eight pence pence per Ounce new standard & {illeg}|s|ix pence per ounce uncertain standard \above the aforesaid above the {s} 5s per ounce/ & take back the Receipts so discharged. And for doing so this shall be your Warrant.

Ordered that what moneys shall be advanced by Sr I. N. Master & Wr of her Majts M twoards discharging the Receipts given by the Officers of the said Mint for plate, be repaid \to/ him out of the civil-list before next Christmas unless they shall be repaid by Act of Parliamt out of the {illeg}coynage moneys before that time

\Agreed by my Ld H. Treasurer/ That what moneys shall be due to Sr Isaac Newton at X.mas next for paying off the Receipts given by the Officers of the Mint for Plate, be then paid to him out of the civil list.

That the deficiency of the di|e|ficiency of the moneys coined out of the Plate wth all charges relating thereunto be made good out of the Coinage Duty.

A minute

Agreed by my Ld Treasurer that what moneys shall be due to Sr Isaac Newton at Christmas next for paying off the Receipts given by the Officers of the Mint for Plate, be then paid to him out of the civil list. And that the value of {his} value thereof in Tin after the rate of 3li 10s per C {f}|b|e upon, {th} demand delivered to him or his Executors or {illeg} for security thereof, to be sold after next Ianuary if the debt be not then paid.
